I've made some beers that have been well within particular styles - only to discover that I'm not a fan of the style

Nothing worse than having to get through beer in a style that you find uninteresting

Cheers

I checked it last night, which is when the tasting was from and it was aroun 1.010.
Obviously, Ill be checking it again soon before I rack it.

Hmm.. maybe a lager for summer is a good idea... not boring... "subtle" you say? ;)

Add a tsp of CaCl to the keg. This will boost up the malt profile a bit. might help take it to the next level with the 'maltiness'. As for hops, add a hop tea or follow ross' recommendation.

I reckon beers with a strong malt profile take about 3-4 weeks conditioning minimum for the malt flavours to fatten out and shine through...

suck it up SB it may just have to be a beer you drink quickly or it may be fantastic after clearing it up.
