Just have to have a bit of a moan.

The water here is revolting!
It tastes salty and the kettle is coated with a thick layer of white salts.
If you leave the coffee in the dripolator pot then the last cup is yucky.

Don't know what the breweries do, but Augustiner has its own well which is "highly drinkable".

well lucky them!

Oh well, I'll have to console myself with cheap beer, cheese and marzipan!

Oooohhh .... HWMBO just handed me a weisswurst and its yuuummmmeee.

Can't say i drank a whole lot of water when I was there :D

Oh well, I'll have to console myself with cheap beer, cheese and marzipan!

If you're in Munich, why on earth would you want to drink the water? :)

I can't imagine why you would want to drink water over there, but to each their own. Hope you have fun and enjoy the beer and food, and I hope you will post some pics too.

cheers
Andrew

So let me get this right. You're in Munich and you are complaining about the water.

Lucky you though. Some beer reports would be good, or even other reports I guess.

(And you can keep the marzipan AFAIC. Yuck.)
