Have just poured my first schooner of a modified Morgan Old.
1. Morgans old kit
1kg brewcraft stout enhancer
made up to 19ltrs and using morgans yeast from kit.
Lovelly tasting beer with a very nice mouth but has very little head, carbonated and poured at 80kpa.
Any suggestions cheers John

Was going to say leave it longer but probably not relevant if you are using a keg and wanting to get into it.
Most likely you needed some Crystal or other steeping malt when you made up the recipe. Glasses Clean ?

The only other trick is the old syringe squirting method in the glass that will give a head but it will not stick around for very long if the beer is not giving a frothy foam as is. Could try carbing up a bit higher but that probably will not be correct for your type of brew.

Thought that the maltodextrin in the enhancer would help the head, but no, gave it a great feel in the mouth though, very smooth

Don't know about that but I have found my bottled beers don't produce a good head until they have been aged by a few weeks. And the best bottles are usually the last few. I don't have the patience so would be in bother if I had a keg or two.

The trick is to have plenty of kegs, this brew is about 4 weeks old just wanted to try it and find out if I want to do it again,
could try and shorten the beer tube might help.
