Ive just copied this milk stout clone but while the original recipe had an SG of 1.065 mine is only 1.056. Can I just increase the base malts to increase the SG or do I have to also increase the other malts proportionately?

Apologies for the recipe format but I had to do it on my Iphone as Im at work, then email as a printable form.

Thanks,

Brewmate doesn't seem to add the effect of the Lactose on the gravity readings???? Let me know how yours turns out.

Cheers

Looks good mate. This is my first time using the new mill too. How does the wort taste so far?

Just sampled this from the keg and its bloody great. Full bodied with a raison taste and hints of tofee, and caramel.

What exactly may have caused the rasion taste to come through in this, the medium crystal??

Cant wait to try it in a few months

it will last that long??
Probably not. Well maybe, but only because Ive done a lot of brewing lately and have a lot of beers in the cellar..
