Hi all,

Was making some modifications and doing some tests and apparently over-tightned the inlet thread on the March Pump housing. Finished the testing, very satisfied with the increase in flow and no air bubbles only to find that the thread came off with my coupling.

Anyone know of the cheapest place to get a replacement? Are there stainless or alternative materials on the market? I've seen a brass one in the US but can't seem to find the same in Aus.

Cheers

They sell bronze / S/S replacements - but they are a bit more pricey than the standard.

I know this is an old post, but the solution I found is that Tesco pumps do now sell the polysulfone (plastic) replacement pump inline head.

It's part no 0809-0079-0100 which is for the March 809 pump. Go to their website and order. They are really helpful so you can email them if you can't find it on the site and they will send you the link.

I just got one delivered for $46 including postage which is ok I guess. They seemed to be one of the only companies not charging $50-$100 for postage!

Or, just don't do those fittings up too tight and crack the head....
