Hi,

Whats the difference between a March pump model 809 PS-HS and a 809 PS HS/C.

The C model looks like it has a mounting bracket. Can you remove this bracket or it it molded to the pump?

Whats the difference with the mounting bracket supplied by Ross? Other than it's stainless steel.

The /C is for Centre; as in the intake position in the centre of the head

Ahh yes I see it now... ok... It looks like that model comes with a bracket. Thats the first thing I noticed hence the question.

It's just a different pump head isn't it ?

Everything else looks the same.

I reckon the center one would be easier to connect / disconnect as the pipe would not have to go down but out.

Yep from what I understand yes, it's just the head. I also believe from memory that the centre one actually has a higher flow rate. I'm not sure why they don;t recommend it for brewing; maybe it causes too much turbulence in the brew? I honestly don't know.

ok, thanks for that. I go with the one the masses have.

That's it for tonigh I'm off to bed.

thanks for the anwers.
