Mate, that's awesome. Nice work :beerbang:

We'll sit tight until there's word on "Delivery to be worked out."

Thanks again,

I can vouch for the March Pump 809, it's got more grunt than u will need, just mount it below bench height. And that price is a what your local HB Shop should do if for anyway. I don't think anyone makes much on these things, at least retailers don't anyway.
This is how I have mine set-up on the front page.

would it still be classed as a "bulk buy" if we are posting to different locations?

will they post to each individual if thats the case?

We can work that out with Karl.

I'm sure he would be willing to post out individually and just pay postage on top of our own pump.

We'll see what he comes back with.

Cheers, Pok

Yes given Karl doesn't give us a discount on the plug and bracket. Fingers crossed he can though.

So MAX price = $223.30 + Shipping (Including GST, bracket and plug)

Come up with a final price + post too 4873 and its all go..

Cheers

Ok folks so this is where you need to give some info.

I have sent the following email to Karl:

G'day Karl,
Thanks heaps for looking at the price of the 809 march pump that we are looking to order, definitely helps out alot of us with the brew budget. Just a few things we need to work through:

1. Postage - As most people are in different locations is it o.k if postage is on a "individual" basis. Some people may send together but there is a few that are all alone in the middle of no where

2. Payment - If payment is made "individually" (as per postage, so if 2 pumps in one parcel = one payment, 1 pump = one payment etc)

3. Plugs and Brackets are on the agenda. Is the price from before current or is it possible this will be adjusted aswell?

4. Maybe to make sure it doesnt drag on and on maybe we put a closing date for payments to be forwarded through to ProcessPumps? And I supply you with a list of postage addresses / names etc?

Anyway let me know what you think and we can go from there,

Aiming to order early next week aslong as everone gets their act together.

Cheers, Brett

Ok so can you all work out together who's pumps will be sent together (E.g. those in Melbourne). Also if you are pooling shipping together I suggest you pay in one payment to make it easier for Karl.

Any questions ask now...want to place this order asap.

Also if the price is too high for you please let us know so we can remove your name from the list

Cheers, Pok

Sorry but a $15 savings is not enough to convince me not to wait until I go home in November.

Best of luck guys!

I'm the same, the savings wasn't exactly what I was expecting - I will wait until I go overseas with work

So it is $223.30 for the 809 march pump including the bracket and plug..?

I would be interested in that, I'm in Hampton, VIC.

I'm new to this bulk buying thing, but basically we say we want one and when it's finalized someone will contact us to arrange payment and postage???

Reply from Karl As follows:

Hi Brett,

Sorry for taking so long to get back to you. I've tried to answer the
questions below.

1. No problems in working out individual postage prices. We just calculate
them via the Australia Post website. We can work this out prior to
finalising the deal so everyone is aware of their postage cost.

2. I think the best way to organise this point will be for us to raise
individual orders for each person. Rather than trying to lump it all into
one invoice. It's more paperwork for us but will be easier to track. So
person 1 will get a packing slip showing:

1 x Pump (assuming they ordered only one)
1 x Postage Charge (based on the delivery address)

And I guess there might be 10 or so of these for us to process.

3. Plugs: $4.00 + GST (special bulk buy price)
Bracket $16.00 + GST (special bulk buy price)

4. I think a closing date would be a good idea. But I'm happy to let you
decide on a fair date that will suit most people.

What we would need at the closing date is a list of names and address,
payment method, number of pumps, brackets, plugs etc..
[/size]
Hope this helps you out.

Karl Koce
Technical Sales

This makes total cost Pump $180, Plug $4, Bracket $16 + GST + Shipping

= $220 + Shipping

So that being said:

1. Orders, payment and shipping will be individual. If you wish to join up with a buddy close by feel free but payment and shipping to be completed under one name. Receipt will be supplied under ONE name

2. Closing date to be decided upon. End of next week?? E.G. C.O.B Friday 18th April 2008?

I think thats it.... So all in all not a huge saving but its still cheaper and we all know where we can turn regarding problems and questions etc.

Cheers, Pok

G'day Bugglz,

Total for 809 with plugs, bracket is $220 + Shipping.

As ordering will be individual the best thing to do will be to contact Karl and Process Pumps via email or phone etc. Let him know you are part of this bulk buy ( I will give him the list of names below). This will have to be done by the closing date (possibly 18/4/08).

Hope this makes sense.

No problem.

Yep savings not as high as wanted but considering:

1.Purchasing local = encouraging Aussie businesses... which are hard to come by sometimes these days
2. Some one to turn to given there is problems etc
3. encourages Karl and PP to keep up the good work
