March Pump 809 Bulk Buy

Ok guys we have got a price on the march 809's and as a comparision G&G are selling them for $299 pump only + P&H.

March 809 PL-HS Pump: $205.00 + GST ($225.50 inc. GST)
Stainless Steel Bracket: $16.00 + GST ($17.60 inc. GST)
3-pin plug: $4.00 + GST ($4.50 + GST)

To save you doing the math that's $247.60 for pump, bracket & plug. P&H will have to be worked out on an individual basis.

So we'll have to get some definite numbers and a cut off date, when that's reached i'll sent Karl a list of the members, and his contact numbers ect. so then you can ring and pay and Karl can cross you off the list or something to that affect.

The other thing is there are 15 pumps in stock, with more coming soon. So the only fair way i can think of doing this is, first in best dressed, the others may have to wait until the new pumps come in. I think anyone interested in this bulk buy is probably checking this thread on a daily basis so on that assumption i vote we have a cut off date of Monday 15th.

Seems my questions got lost amongst the lists of names... For my 100th post, I'm doing a repost;

<snip>I have a couple o' questions for those that know;

- How much faster (compared to gravity feed) does this pump wort? I get that it pumps, but I can be patient if need be. Examples anyone?
- Is there much risk of oxidation using one of these? I know I'm new to this method, so I probably won't notice, but if I potentially have a three-tier setup, should I bother? If output is too high, will it get aerated?
- Are there any other disadvantages to this that I haven't thought of?

I think I had higher hopes for the price, perhaps unrealistically. I may still be open to some convincing, otherwise I'm going to stick to what I've got. Good luck to all who get one, I'll surely join in when finances (and the AU$) improve.
