Hi

I am looking for a recommendation for a Belgian wit bier recipe?
Struggling to find a decent recipe, any ideas?

Thanks

I am slowly perfecting my Wit and can probably help you out.

What kind of system are you using? Can you step mash?

What kind of raw wheat are planning on using?

Just looking at the moment. may be a bit adventurous for me at this stage

My recipe is as follows. Simple but nice results

50% Pils
25%Flaked Wheat
25%Wheat malt
Touch of rolled oats about 2%
Hop with Syrian and Saaz
12g coriander seed crushed
Rind of 1 or 2 oranges
Wyeast 3944
Mash 50C protein rest then 66c
Ferment 19C

That recipe from byo is where I started my Wit adventure. It is pretty decent recipe.

I would drop the munich malt though.

I prefer an IBU of ~15. CZ saaz is my favourite Wit hop as well (but any nobel will do)
