Karni Kolsch

I'm not even sure it should be called a beer, let alone a Kolsch, this just tasted like fairy floss. But it was kinda tasty.

It is actually pretty tasty. And why not a beer? It was mildly flavoured with raspberry to mimic fairy floss, not much different from a cream stout really

It's an affront to Kolsch beers, for one, since a Kolsch is defined predominantly by Kolsch yeast - and its flavour. For two, it's sugar water, there's zero malt presence. At some point a beer becomes an RTD and I'd say that's when you taste nothing but artificial raspberry. Cream stout at least has a backbone.
