I have long been a fan of Kangaroo Paws ( Anigozanthos ) and have started collecting them finally..

Anyone had any success propagating them from seed or cuttings...

DC, my old man is in to all that shit so I asked him for you. Keep in mind I don't know, what if, any specific info needed to be relayed. He reckons it's no good to grow em' from seed because you can't garentee which species you'll end up with (I'm guessing that's with hybrid species or something?), and once they've grown a bit you can just chop em' in half or 3's, 4's depending on how big it is of course, re-plant and off they go. Hope that helps :)

I am actually interested in growing from seed. I know they can be easly chopped apart with a shovel and are very hardy in the right conditions.

I have to grow mine in pots because I have clay soils.

Also interested in tissue culture propagation
