does anyone no an easy & accurate way to measure the amount of isomerised hop extract used to add IBU`S to a finished beer the extract i have is 30% AA & i want to add 30 IBU`S to 55lts of stout

1IBU is 1mg/L (ppm) of alpha acids.

You want an extra 30mg/L, 55L, so you want 1650mg of AA, the extract is 30%AA so you want 5500mg or 5.5g of hop extract.

so do you mean 5.5ml ?

Nope, 5.5g, which is not necessarily 5.5mL, it depends on the density.

I think you will find that the %AA is quoted in %W/V, so both right, but quoting the units is fairly important if you want to get the right answer.
