I gave up on IBD years ago in the west. Nothing of any value was put forward and it cost me a lot.
Networking was zero and meetings, well unpredictable.
Sad but true.

Fair chance I'll be there - mind you, I'm hoping to be at the rest of the IBD convention too, but required time off work is making that look somewhat unlikely.

Sounds good - and very similar to the seminar-thing held at Young and Jacksons the year before last.
I'm sure it will be worth the $50 - even for interested home brewers - however don't expect too much (that you don't already know) since each presenter has only a 1/2 hour time slot.
