Not bragging because these are not used for brewing yet!

I ticked 14+

If you think you need more kegs, then you probably do. ;)

18x 19l-kegs, is just right.

...but I have to explain: as you may know, Im a Pils drinker and a Pils needs alt least 4 weeks to mature, better to keep it 6 weeks in the cold room.

With one brew I can fill 3 kegs and one keg lasts for about one week. So I have to brew once in three weeks. If Im going to store the beer for 6 weeks, Ill need 18 kegs in circulation.

Its easy, isnt it?

Cheers

I forgot: thats only if nobody comes over to visit us :p

I only have 2 <_< I think 4 wouldnt even be enough, 6 should be a minimum

I went from 2 to 6 when kegsonline had a special earlier in the year. Six seems about right for me at the moment. Two on tap, at least three full and ready to go and the just emptied one waiting for the batch in the fermenter or cube to clear up and be packaged. So far there hasn't been a beer drought in this house :)

I have 4 x 18 litre, 1 x 20 litre, and 1 x 45 litre.
Plus the two 50 litre converted for the AG brewery.

My rule of thumb is two more kegs than you have fermentation space for.
Then the hard bit is getting enough brewing done to fill the kegs and still have more fermenting in fermenters.

Beers,
Doc

spot on doc thats what i have but can now add 2x 9L's to the list too now...shiney!

You can never have too many kegs :p

cheers Ross

19 litre kegs, 13 at the moment.
won't mention how many 50's
Beer fridge holds 6 with 6 taps.
What I call my gassing fridge holds 5.
I carb up and age in one fridge and serve in the other one.
So I can keep 11 cold at a time. I do have trouble keeping it all full,
would have to stop drinking for awhile I guess

Ha ha Ross, thats pretty awsome!

I ticked 8 as 9 was not there!

Currently only two empty ones, with no brew planned for December, but planning on hosting an all-grain brew day for Geelong brewers in January some time.

10 X 9L
2 X 18L

only went 9L coz I have a bar fridge under my bar (funnily enough) - and therefore had to double the number of required 18's.
9L has since come in V handy - parties, camping & swaps.

I have 6. Suits me at the moment but my aim is to make 10 my minimum.

5x45litre and 2x19. Can only fit 3x45 and 2x19 in the fridge though.
The 2 spare 45's are for lagering or long term aging in theory but are just sit in the shed waiting for some brew time.
