Hi all,

Was both stunned and amazed when I poured a sample bottle of this. It's a Czech pilsener but, for an unfiltered beer, very clear. Any opinions?

Hmm, that looks very nice. I don't filter my beers, but have on and off used finings. I have found that I have had really clear beers with and without finings, it's hard to pin down how much influence they have.

hi, did you use a conical fermenter ,or have you used any special methods.?

cheers, alan

When mine are that clear it usually means the keg is about to run out.

Hi all,

There was nothing special about this brew. I used Wyeast 2001 and fermented at about 11C. The glass in the picture was poured from a 500ml bottle. I find that most of my beers are pretty clear as well but this one looks like it was filtered.

cheers

Patrick.
