So do you use the HLT as the HERMS vessel pumping worth through the coil?

Also what elements do you have in there and do they run off 10amp or 15amp?

Yep I use the HLT as the herms vessel. The temp is pretty close to Sparging on a brew. I was originally going to make a hex vessel with the spare element Which still could be done.
Can’t remember what wattage the elements are but it works fine on a 10 amp circuit

Just got my wife to check and the elements are 2200 watt

Thanks mate. I have a 3V system at the moment and have been looking at how to add a HERMS or RIMS for step mashing and recirculating the mash but I don't have any coils or pumps etc. so I'm looking at different solutions
