Hey all,

I just purchased a growler from the local brewery and filled it with their finest APA. However, my fridge door wont allow storage of the growler standing up so I've had to lay it down on a shelf instead, I know the lid has a part to play in carbonation retention but... question: Will beer quality be affected by storing the growler laying down or not? Of course I aim to drink the contents within 48 hours of first opening.

Cheers for the input!

Nope!

Within 48 hours, drink and enjoy!

Keg King vacuum insulated growlers FTW!

I have two and I love them because it means I can take awesome beer with me wherever I go. Work, the dentist, the toilet, in bed…All the usuals.

Thanks but my dentist is a cider man. Weird.

As long as his hands don't smell like they've been in cider.
