I just put together a new mash tun and I wanted to make a custom built false bottom.
I went to ACT Stainless Steel (top spot) and order some perforated stainless steel sheeting.
But, even though I only needed a disc of 470mm diameter the minimum purchase was for one square metre
I had the lads there cut it into discs and I now have two to sell. Both are 470mm in diameter and with a little modification they would be perfect for a couple of large stainless steel vessels or with a bit more modification they could be cut to fit a smaller vessel.
These two are available for $70 each
Could probably ship this via Fastway couriers to most eastern cities and regional centres (for I'm guessing $10-$20?) or available for pick-up in Canberra
Here's a couple of pics:
The specs:
1.5mm thick perforated 304 stainless steel with 2mm hole size and 3.5mm pitch (distance between the centre of each hole) which equates to 30% open area.
