I am looking at installing 2 x 2200 watt elements in my 100ltr HLT.... Will I be able to run these off a normal power point or will I run into issues with it pulling too much current? I would also have my Herms running at the same time which is a 5ltr Birko urn.... And the fridges are plugged in in the garage as well.

I'm on my iPhone do short n simple

NO :/

2200w x 2
Urn possibly 2400w
Fridges not sure will say about 600-1000w when they boot up.

8000 watts @ 240v is 32amps house gpo are rated to 10

You could get a sparky to throw a big circuit in 2 x 20's would be good but would be pricy

Other option is to run a few things off different circuits if you have them close

Unplug fridges while brewing

Still need to keep in mind 2400w is 10Amps

Also watch the rating of your main switch .

This is why I went gas :)

my man cave now has 40A

1 x 10A for each HLT and HEX (separate marked points)

1 X 10A for the fridges, computer, etc..

1 X 10A for... erm... spare

from my point of view, if it's your house, get the sparkie in to make it what you want it. If it's a rental, run an extension cord from a separate circut to run the brew rig...

it's a real PITA when stuff starts tripping in the middle of a brew session.
