Brewery upgrade in pics

So my upgrade project is very nearly complete. I've rebuilt almost everything, including the brew stand which i made from lumber which used to be my deck roof. This also made my work bench.

Noting my space limitations, i created a corner stand. I've never actually seen on in pics, but i really like how mine fits in.

I was also fortunate to find my fermentating chamber door is reversible. So i switched it across to make it easier to fill up - no more 5m hose needed!

From here i replaced my brewery control box. I eventually chose the Aubers pre-made Brew Buddy I. I asked them to modify it by adding an extra pump control point, and a power in which suits my existing plug (see previous post), and finally to use Aussie plugs. They were happy to oblige, for a small cost of course. I then had to figure how to install it. Noting the corner setup with a fridge in the way i only really had one option. So with the same left over lumber, i build a frame.

The pics below also show the tip frame i built for my mash tun. My objective with this rebuild was to make brewing easier and more self-contained (i.e. not dragging the pots to the garden to clean, and get covered in grass and mud). I'll soon be upgrading the sink i have access to, to one much bigger. That's the next project.

And finally, the latest stage.

I decided on a 3 pump system so that i wouldn't have to remove any pipes or hoses during a brew. To accompany this i got a heap of SS piping. Idea was to connect everything from the pump upwards via SS. Turns out that's a bit tricky without access to a CAD and bespoke fittings. So i ended up mostly going from the pumps to the frame and using a flexible brewer piping for the jump to the pots.

I have purchased and installed (one more to do) 3-way valves, so that i just need to turn a couple when the brewing moves to the next stage. Hopefully i don't have too many leaks, as i've used a heap of plumbers tap!

Last thing to do is, get a couple more of the pipe connector thingies as i ran out, bend my heating elements - 5750w (they're about 3" too long!) and get a sparkie to wire up the elements and extend the cable with the control box in. Then happy brewing (although also need a new fermentator fridge controller).

Nice setup. One question though, are those pumps set up correctly? Usually the inlet in through the middle and the outlet is on the side/too.

Crap, you are correct. Better fix that. Thanks for pointing it out.
