well it sounds like it might be strange but i have a cranberry tree that is chocablock with bloody cranberrys, anyone used them in a beer

I haven't used them but there are some micros in the US that use them. The most common styles I've seen have been wheat beers and lambics with cranberries. I particularly like the idea of the lambic if you are willing to let bugs into your brewery.

There's a great recipe here. I use it all the time with lemons (not tried a cranberry one yet) and it works a treat.

ok thanks guys, i have a wheat beer that is sitting in one of my kegs and i have to say it is one of the most tasteless beers i have made, really disappointed in this brew so i think i will try to give it a bit of taste with the cranberry juice, thanks.
