Hey all
Setting up for a first all grain brew. I have a 55l Waeco Cool-ice esky I would like to use for a mash tun, and would like to fit a ball valve without drilling or completely ruining the esky.
Plumbing stores in coffs have not been to much help, 15mm brass all thread seems a bit tight in the nylon bung hole, and the hole is right on the bottom of the esky. Cant find any examples via searching on the site or net.
Has anyone modified one of these and has any advice on what bits etc and how they did it? May need to punch out the bung fitting maybe (but would rather not)? I would like to put a manifold on the inside as well.
Appreciate any advice
Cheers
