Well I've pretty much got my first AG setup ready but want to give the whole thing a good clean before my first attempt. I refer mainly to the new counterflow chiller, copper manifold and various brass fittings etc.

Any idea what would be best to get rid of any residue from these new pieces.

Also, the copper of the manifold is a little oxidised(turning green). Is this going to be a problem?

Cheers

A rinse thru with some hot water, maybe a soak in some sanitiser and then rinse again. I don't use a counterflow chiller, so others can better advise on that.

My immersion chiller is copper and a little bit oxidised before going in the kettle, never seems to bother it....though I do have hazy beer

She be sweet mate
