Well bugger me if you bastards arn't just a little keen to get your hands on these "useless, rubbish, crappy" chinese hops.

As usual costs start to rise when freight comes in, BUT it looks ok still, although we will break $10.00 a kilo, BUT under $20.00 a kilo all up. (lets see who is still keen now).

EXTERNAL (To Australia)

The products can be sent by air freight(DHL OR Fedex) or sea freight, the first(by air) is fit for small quantities(less than 100KG) and high speed, but it is high cost,the additional AIRF air freight is about 12USD/KG,Though the second (by sea) is fit for large quantities (more than 100KG),the cost is more cheaper , but would be took over twenty-five days to arrive you.So at first if you plan to purchase small quantities of our products , we suggest you to shipped by AIR. Please consider my suggestion , if any question or help ,email please.

As you lot are starting to reach into 100kg range, things look ok for sea freight, or air freight. I would guess sea frieght will see costs down to a respectable $8.00 a Kg, even less (hoping for $5.00 a kilo).

INTERNAL

Well Aussie post do no faviours, BUT a 3kg plastic satchal is $10.00, any where in Aus.


Where does that leave us.

1. Hops are $7.00 a kilo
2. To Australia about $5.00 to $8.00 I hope
3. With-in Aus about $3.00 a kilo.

@ $20 a kilo it still works out fine by me. Put it this way $1.80 per 90gr for at worst a bittering hop verse $8.50 per 90 grs for known hops. Meh?

Ahhh you brew for one mate I brew for 4, there's the difference.

:icon_offtopic: I checked my brew log last night and I went AG in March this year. 6 months down the track and I am up to brew #31 and #32 this weekend. That's an average of 5 brews a month or approx 168lts per month or 1008lt total for 6 months. Most of these have been doubles as well. I just upgraded Sherman to do triples so I can keep up plus brew some brews I like. So where will the literage be by March 2010? 2500lts? Who knows?

BTW here's some scary stats I have already been through 2.5kgs of hops, +300kg of grain, just under 700grs of yeast, +4800lt of water, 42kg of gas and 9kg of rice LOL!

Consider this though? I have brewed all of the 1008lt thru the colder months! What's going to happen to me thru summer? Yikes?

I have no fear of getting thru a fair bit of those hops and if they are good flavour and aroma wise I'll be over the moon and they will be used alot. Or I will give some away to noobs and stuff.
