I am just now sipping on an ordinary bitter i made a few months ago. I did a little experiment, where i only half carbed 2 longnecks to see the difference in taste compared to normal carbo levels. Although i dont have any full carbed bottles to compare side by side ( its pretty nice ! ), i can definately taste more pronounced flavours, not different, but just more prominent. I know that bitter is not supposed to be highly carbed, so its interesting to taste a bitter that is of the correct carbonation. Head retention isnt too crash hot, but im still getting good lace on the glass ( Torrified wheat for ya!! ). Maybe next time i'll keg it and do the same thing, and see what happens.
