Can anyone recommend a good calvados or apple brandy for drinking? I know it is used a lot in cooking and don't mind if it is French or not. I found an apple brandy at Lark Distillery for $117 but this is strenching my budget just a little. Will have family coming from overseas at the end of the year, so would look at getting a more expensive one from them as it will be much cheaper where they are. Just looking for suggestions and recommendations as they are hard to come by anywhere for tasting.
