Bulk Priming - Do You Adjust The Sugar

Hiya,

Normal brews would be about 23lts... Grumpys has a nice little table for you to work out how much sugar you need.

When you rack into secondary you might loose a litre then you might loose a litre when you bulk prime (avoiding the yeast bed)... so therefore you've got 21-22lts. Is there a need to adjust for that one or two litres?

First of all I would look at you FG, if this is well above 1012 say, just bottle and do not prime.

A difference of a litre or two I would not bother adjusting for, but then again I prime lightly when I prime at all
