Which one to go for the 103 or 109 GPH?

I'd also like to know if the 11 litres/min version is a better choice than the standard 6 or even 8. Because the price is hardly any extra I'm wondering if there's some catch to it.

Not sure about the other one mentioned but if it was strictly out of the 103 or the 109, i'd definitely go the 103 for the screw on 1/2 bsp thread. You can attach all sorts of fittings to it easily. I was worried about tightening a hose clamp on the 109 pump and cracking the inlet/outlet pipes.

I have the 103 and for what i use it for it rules!

are they ok for whirlpooling boiling wort?
do they really have enough woomph to get a good whirl going and speed down the chilling?
some say yes, some say no
