Its a public holiday in Brisbane today and I have just mashed in my 1st Anniversary Hopburst IPA :D (I did my first AG on last years Ekka)

Is anyone else taking advantage of the holiday to brew?

Cheers Jye

Similar idea here - had a big IPA brew-day yesterday with a few mates. Today is for recovering.

Had the plan to brew today seeing it's been a while since my last brew but a sleep in until 10:00 am and then the chore of shopping and cleaning the pool/beer room up left me with little time to brew.

Good to see some others make good use of the public holiday.

Big day on tomorrow which is the Ekka holiday for the Amalgamated Moreton Bay Province (well it's not a Shire, it's not a City so what the hell is it supposed to be?)

Aussie Lager from my BIAB brewday is being bottled which will free up the lagering fridge for the:
Aussie Lager from the Biggest Brew Day which will free up a fermenter for the:
ESB I am brewing today for the State Comp
Also pitching an Aussie Lager brewed last Wednesday, also for the State Comp which will free up the cube for the:
Aussie Dark Old I'm brewing tomorrow for the State Comp

Now that's brilliant, I had been toying around with my diary and couldn't come up with an efficient schedule for all this, I start typing and everything comes clear !!! :icon_cheers: :icon_cheers:

I forgot the Yorkshire Modern 1469 Blonde Summer Ale in Primary. Hmm prolly just keg it from Primary, it's looking fairly clear now. Wish I had a filter yet
Not for the comp, it's not within the BJCP guidelines. <SARCASM> Probably not enough Amarillo in it <SARCASM>

....ESB I am brewing today for the State Comp...

I am sooooo glad I spat in the urn when I was there today BribieG! DAMN IT I'm brewing an ESB for the comp today FFS go pick another stlye to win ya bugger! :beerbang:

Chap Chap

Oh and for Ekka Day Prolly a nice little bit pf Irish Red!

Yup I usually spit in the urn as well for good luck, aids starch conversion. However I did see it dribbling down inside so reckoned if it ain't broke why fix it.
