Not sure where to put this one but;
Does anyone have a method of downloading Brewmate to a linux system,
ubuntu 10.04
Otherwise is there something similar in PDF or other form?
Thanks,
wombil.

It should run fine under Wine on Ubuntu 10.04. I run BeerSmith 1.4 on the same OS, although it needs a little bit of tweaking to get everything smooth.Not sure where to put this one but;

Saying that, I've never tried Brewmate, and don't know what additional pre-requisites it has. Give it a try, and make sure to update this thread with your findings. Knowledge shared is knowledge doubled
Edit: You were looking for process, not advice.
1) Ensure you've got Wine installed, using Ubuntu Software Centre
2) Download the Brewmate installer.
3) Double-click the Setup.exe, which will fire up Wine, and install it into your "virtual" Windows installation
4) Run Brewmate from under Wine->Programs->Brewmate
Thanks Warm Beer,Have already done items 1/4.Brewmate shows up at;
wine>programs>Brewmate
uninstall Brewmate
It is there ok but when I click to open nothing happens.
I know .net framework is needed in XP but don't think it will work on linux.
Will give it a go.
anyone had trouble downloading on a normal computer lol
