Hey guy's,
Finally after about a year of buying bits here and there I now have my own kegging setup going (almost, just need the bronco tap, beer and gas line, and the quick dissconnects, all of which I'm going out to buy tomorrow). I read the "how to balance a draught system" wiki and the ross method guide too and reckon I've got a good enough understanding of how it'll all go when I keg my first batch. However I still have a few questions that need clearing up
1. When balancing the system, i.e shortening my line how much should I cut off at a time ?
2. Once the beer is fermented can I just whack it in the keg or should I put it in a cube for a while ?
3. In regards to the ross method step three why is the gas connected to the "out" post?
4. I'll be using a bronco (picnic) tap for now until I get myself a proper tap, and build up the guts to drill through the fridge or put a collar on it, wondering if they're prone to leaking (given all the bits are plastic).
5. If the first lot of kegging doesn't work (in other words if and most likely when I stuff it up) does it matter how many times I try to carbonate it or is there a limit and if needs be can i just bottle it after trying to force carb it ?
Cheers
Aaron
