I will be buying a regulator and saw the NADS ones (Dual Dial) on grumpys site.

Are these good regulators? Anyone here got one?

After speaking to GMK I am looking forward to getting my kegging system up and running very soon :D

In my experience a regulator is a regulator.

We use the grumpy's one on the bottle then a SMC air one for the counter pressure bottle filler and for the old fire extinguisher for the magic box

Ok, so here is the regulator.

Is there meant to be a plastic tap attached to the gold section coming out the front of the unit? Or do you just use your fingers to change the pressure?

no you don't get a knob with it.you can use your fingers.but when its got pressure on it you'll need a screw driver.
these are made in the u.s.a for anyone wanting to get them.so there good quality units.
