On sale from next week, Thursday 6th September.

Does anyone have a similar size bar fridge and know whether it would fit 2 kegs? I assume the freezer section is fixed and that it is also the main cooling element. I guess that there is going to be a compressor hump too.

Problem is that last time when Aldi had freezers they were all packed up in boxes with no way to check the internal space.

Mine looks similar to that. You can pull apart the freezer, the element is just a flexible metal sheet, bent in a C shape with a door at the front. I just ripped the door off it and bent it out so it lined the top and part of the back of the fridge. With the compressor hump it fit 2 cornies perfectly. With the thermostat on the lowest (warmest) setting it held them at 2C pretty nicely. turning the thermostat up would turn the whole thing into a freezer.

I'll measure the outside dimensions of mine when Im back home (this weekend) and see how they compare to the aldi.

check the ratings & power consumption levels - i've seen some nastly cheap stuff being flogged at aldi before.
