No mate they won't just a fraction too tall, mind you the collar was made from structural pine, at 35mm x 70mm from memory. and the bottom screw on the hinge lined up perfectly with the original top hole for the hinge. If that makes sense.

And did I mention it was piss easy... Knowledge gained from here

My chest freezer which is a long term kegerator is an old Kelvinator ( now Fischer and Paykel) ?

Kelvinator model H270GC,must be a good 20 plus years old.
270 litre capacity.
Internal dimensions: 950 mm long X 430 mm wide X 780 mm deep.
The compressor hump/ shelf takes up an area of 240x430x450 mm.
The freezer is big enough to hold 6 cornie kegs.
Works a treat,I will be buying a thermostat conversion kit from an Aussie Ebay seller soon so that will take care of the temp issues, from memory the kits are around the $40.00 mark.
Cost of the freezer was nil as my mum down sized ,thanks mum.
This model of freezer has no cables or pipes in the lid to worry about damaging if putting a collar on it,but as I intend to mount a font to the lid and there is plenty of head space inside the damage issue isn't a problem, although I will be drilling through the lid to mount the font and run lines.
Cheers....spog.....

Fysher and Paykel ?
