AG Starter Equipment

Hi guys
I'm looking to start doing AG brewing and need some cheap equipment.
Does anyone have a 30/40L urn on the cheap? Anything else that I may need? (Besides socks etc.)

How much are you looking to spend?

A new urn will set you back between 250-300, but there are a few other things you'll need. Bag, silicone hose, cubes or wort chiller etc. You'll also need to attach a ball valve to the outside of the urn.

Yeah I've seen them for that much new, was looking for someone selling one second hand, or maybe someone sick of brewing (haha) giving one away or on the cheap

Looked on eBay, pretty much only Crown's or Buffalo's. Can get them cheaper elsewhere...

The problem is that qld is where I'll be and Tas is where I'll give it away.

But.....

If you look at my 2pot stovetop method with ghetto lauter thread, you can see some pics and vids of how nasty poor hooker gear can make great AG beer.

I'd be keeping it for myself if I could, I'm damn proud of the beer it produces viz cost (or even without taking it into account).

Surely some Tassie brewer wanting to get into AG wants free stuff.
