Sounds like breweries blowing hot air to blame **** beer on the wheat. Ie its tge wheats fault out beer tastes stale.

Then again tge less pessimistic side of me says cool. I wonder if it will increase the grains shelf life as grain is sacks of grain last longer
 
Interesting. Would be nice to get a bit more info on it though

That is because supermarkets demand a BBE three times long as that.

Three months is a figure oft bandied about.

Depending on the actual malt specs and flavour, I think this is a cool development, especially if other stablised varieties can bred from it.
