2 inch. You've reminded me that I've heard of folks using Tri-Clovers on newer kegs, and will have a look into them for this one. Thanks! I like the float idea.

[SIZE=11pt]I would use a float over dip tube for vertical silage. You can start drawing beer earlier as it clears from the top rather than wait till the yeast settles below a dip. Also if the cask is moved or knocked you won’t be drawing yeast, at least not till it gets near the bottom.[/SIZE]

[SIZE=11pt]Edit: As you have a gas inlet already you wouldn’t need a whole CaskWidge assembly. They sell the floats separately with a length of silicone tube you can cut to the depth of your cask. [/SIZE]
