Yeah - any splits should be organised by parties involved on their own terms. My experience of bulk buys is thus anyway - too much to expect the organiser can keep track of all splits.

There is a bag owner who pays and collects whole bag, then cash and pick up worked out separately (may still coincide, just responsibility doesn't rest with main organiser).

That makes sense. Djar007 said he understood that some bags will need to be split at different locations due to differences in the geographical locations of the splitters. I will make these 'special' arrangements through the PM system.

Djar007 has organised the main buy & will pick it up. His job is done. If he wants to deliver to alternative pick-up points, that's up to him. Others can pick-up from him directly, or for further distribution. That's up to them.

Manticle has just created the pointy-end of the funnel for distribution. It now needs refinement. That's up to YOU.

It's up to the rest of us to work-out where our full/half-bags & Met. splits go AND who is going to pick-up/deliver to/for whom. That's the responsibility of the "Bag-Holders" & can all be done via PM's etc.

Post-up your preferences on the list Manticle started above & we go from there.

Dave (Djar007), I'm available on Monday arvo & am willing to help sort-out where things go, split/pack bags etc. Shoot me a PM with an address/time & I'll be there.

Martin thanks for trying to clarify. However, I still think there is potential confusion here as it seems to me people are interpreting the list differently. If I looked at that list being djar007 I'd leave 9 bags in Deer park. However I'm only a half bag and Black and Tan is only a half bag, so it should be 8 (in my mind).

Sorry I'm new and maybe it's all getting worked out clearly in PM. But the public list doesn't look right to me and it seems it would run a lot smoother if it was. I don't want to change it because I'm not clear on the guidelines here. I also don't want it to be my bag that causes the **** up! I appreciate all the hard work.

Would it not make sense to match the met to the perc in the ratio of 1/5th metasilicate per bag of Sodium Percabonate as it seems most have ordered 1 that.
That way Djar007 can easily offload the right quantities for the other 2 pickups without attempting 20 odd split bags.

Hey there gents. A very slow day at work has given birth to the following modification of the pickup list to help make Djar007's life a little easier and all of ours a bit too. I passed this by him so I'll go ahead and post it.

Basically it shifts splits of Met bags to the pickup locations. You go to your pickup location and just take home the amount of Met you've ordered, rather than having to travel hither and yon to go to the Met bag holder's location as well as the other pickup too. This will require all the Met bag holders to confirm they've received payment before everyone picks up. I'll send a PM around to the bag holders and Djar007 so we can take care of this.

Tahoose, Grainer, nu_brew and Hans I have added you to pickups based on where your AHB profile says you live. If those pickups don't work for you please change your pickup location and the Perc/Met totals for each location accordingly.

I've double checked this, but a second set of eyes with too much time on their hands wouldn't be a bad idea if someone wants to check what I've tabulated for accuracy.
