G'day all, i tasted a lager lastnight that i bottled around 10 days ago. Its a baccas and barley lager with 50/50 lme;dex. I know its a bit young still but it was very malty, will this dissaper in time?. Cheers Greg

G'day all, was just wondering if fermenter size/shape has anything to do with how a brew ferments. eg; would a fermenter that is shallow with a large surface area act differently to one that was tall and narrow?. Cheers Greg

G'day all, dont know if anyone does this here but i give my beer glasses a scrap inside with 80grit sandpaper to keep a good head. Just a slow dig into the side of the glass to form some groves, not to many as it will cause over carb. Keeps the bubbles clinging to the side. Cheers Greg

G'day all, my missus does a ginger beer from scratch. Its yeast water and ginger fed daily for 7 days. Im wondering if the ginger is a fermneting agent or is it just acting as a flovour?. Also how could i do an alc reading on it?. Cheers Greg
