" oh, THAT bottle of $3000 dollar wine, now I remember now that I see my hand written thank you note"

They are all self-serving crooks who are far more interested in serving their own agenda and inflating their own egos than doing good for the community. Anyone who wants to be a polly should automatically be excluded from the job.

I still remember a stubby of Reschs Real Ale that QldKev gave me two years ago. :icon_vomit:

that's Nick Di Girolamo on the right. O'Farrell seems to be having a good time :super:

Probably gave to the gardener who took it home and opened it and it tasted **** so was poured down the sink.

Haha. He even referenced the year in the note. That's definitely a bottle you don't forget.

Rather ironic that the Libs started an ICAC investigation into corrupt Labor politicians and managed to scalp themselves. Labor really have nothing to loose. The Liberals on the other hand are not looking so righteous.

Its a case of "Carefull what you wish for..."

I still remember a bottle of chateau latour I had in 1990. Nowhere but Sydney would the premier be undone by a bottle of grange.

How did we go from a PM that boasted about skulling a yard glass to a premier that can't remember a bottle of $3k wine?

Says a lot about the current state of affairs.

People forgot what Australia is really about and became too concerned with boat people. Instead of a fair go for all, it's "we're full, **** off!". That's how you get tossers taking $3000 bottles of wine under the table and lying about it while Hawke is still smashing beers at the cricket.

I was given a 1954 Domaines Barons de Rothschild Chateau Lafite Rothschild, Pauillac, France, average price $2775.00.
Yes I drank it !
Wish I hadnt now

Wondering if I should declare the Spiderman showbag a workmate is bringing back from the Royal Easter show for my son...

Should Maybe declare the grains, hops and yeast I'll be picking up in my lunch break tomorrow?

Depends how many other $3000 bottle of wine you receive as presents.
Good call.

If he was a rapper he'd had 100's of $3000+ bottles of liquor by now, hows a man to remember one bottle of some Aussie red.

$3000 for a Grange ain't an expensive Grange really. There in the wine cupboards of all Dan Murphys for dearer than that.

But alas, that is not the point of the subject now is it.
