No, that is not every movie I own and yes I did try pretty hard to keep it short. If I had to choose 5 to have never been made in order to save the rest it would be like Sophie's Choice for me (if that could be one of the 5 I'd be perfectly happy though).

American Pschyco
Pulp Fiction
Office Space

and any good kung fu flick

Any of George Romero's movies are great.

Are you aware he still makes "...of the Dead" films? If not you may wish to see them before you make a statement like that. Night, Dawn and Day are all very good though.

In the Heat of the Night - Rod Steiger, Sidney Poitier

A Hard Days Night - I know, I know, I'm a fan of the Beatles' music, and I think it's a very good movie

From Russia with Love - I think it's the best Bond movie

My Fair Lady - I know it's a chick flick of sorts, but it's about the best there is in that genre.

Yes, I know. Land of the dead was a bit of a fizzer, I admit.

But I quite liked Diary of the Dead. The idea that we dont have a narrative anymore because we all have a voice via the internet is worth considering.

A couple of other movies that I recall enjoying (and noone else has mentioned yet):

Alls quiet on the western front
The sent-down girl
The visitors (the French one, not the crappy American adaptation).

Pulp Fiction
Dead Poets Society
Lord of the Rings

Tombstone
Zoolander
The Forbidden Planet
Galaxy Quest
Deadwood
The Might Boosh
Star Wars III
LOTR I II III

cheers

Browndog

Holy crap! I can't believe I forgot Ju-On. That movie was awesome.

Dead Man
The Deer Hunter
The City of Lost Children
Sunset Boulevard
Mullholland Dr
Rambo First Blood (only just saw that recently for the first time)

Dunno.. too many

ED: I've got similar tastes to Bum (*ahem* screenshot)

Bum,

that's an intense movie list, Definitely some of my faves in there. A little perplexed by "the powerpuffs girls movie" but hey - each to their own!

Personally I really enjoyed (not in order)
From Dawn to Dusk
The Empire Strikes Back
Finding Nemo
Superman The Movie
Terminator 2
One Flew over the cuckoo's nest
Forest Gump

Cheers - Snow

The design is amazing. The soundtrack is amazing. The editing is very strong. The story is effective enough. Never seen the TV show but I've heard it is a different beast. I will point out that Finding Nemo is in your own list.

Ok - Enough to pique my interest :)

I will point out that Finding Nemo is in your own list. Oh come on... the pathos.... the joie de vive... Bruce! Dory was my favourite character... and Rove did agreat job as the crab
