With the Easter break upon us starting next week I was wondering what plans everbody has on what to brew next.

I have 12 days of starting from Good Friday :beerbang: .

I will more than likely brew a Porter followed by the Denny Conn rye IPA.
I made the rye IPA up last year as it was the big brew day recipe. Loved it! So I have to brew it again.

Hopefully I will get a Belgian in there somewhere as well. woohoo

Also stout, probably oatmeal. And if i have enough fermenters an Aussie ale.

So whats your brew plans?

cheers

A week in Fiji from next Tuesday, wooohooo :beerbang: Will see if the standard of Fiji Bitter has improved since we were last there 7 years ago. I'm guessing not though

Home Easter Monday and whack on a couple of my no chill Fresh Wort Kits. Happy Easter all.

This Sunday I will be brewing a pils and a marzen :beerbang: .... easter weekend I will be building a retaining wall :(

Dragging a 3 gal keg of "Workers Ale" up to the Bangalow region, won't be back until the AHB Sydney Pub Crawl, then if my brain doesn't hurt too much on sunday I plan to lay down an ESB.

got an 8% UK-IIPA on in secondary at the moment, a fat foreign stout maturing in bottle. next up some more english type beers for the cooler weather i think - bitters, winterwarmers etc. might muck around with some of the weird US hops in at craftbrewer.com.au too.

Fangin' for a Porter. Time to brew one methinks. Will probably be Good Friday or Easter Sunday. :beerbang:

Starting a Pilser tommorrow.

I was also thinking of an Oatmeal Stout over the Easter break, but warrenlw63 got me thinking about a porter. Decisions, decisions.

More than likely an oatmeal stout,

Love that smooth silky oat stuff! :chug:

Mr. Borrett, that's liable to draw a response you may not care for.

English Pale Ale - tomorrow
Single malt whisky wash - tomorrow
Strong Dark Belgian - Easter weekend
Stout - Easter weekend

rasberry wit going on this weekend along with a mead. Probbaly a rasberry mel as I'll have plenty around for the wit.

Over the easter break hopefully I'll get a belgian pale on if I get enough time off from painting. Haven't settle on a recipe yet. Probably a mix of pale, munich and amber. Bit of cara helles. B Saaz all the way through.

Cheers
Dave

My fermentation fridge died yesterday after almost 4 years of sterling service :( Don't know if I can get another sorted in a hurry - will see how I go. If not then probably no Easter brewing for me unless we have a serious cold snap :(

I had planned an Octoberfest followed by a Hellesbock re-using the yeast from the Octoberfest's primary, but...

Shawn.

I'm thinking down the Chocolate Porter route.
Will be digging out the yeast this weekend and waking it up. Wish I could get two brews down, but I have to assemble a large garden shed and have a family lunch as well.

Beers,
Doc

Re doing Tony old recipe with a few little exrtas and changes, the very large stone mason next door drank 4 pints in quick time and said it was a winner :) must be the POR in it <_< I see what he buys from the bottle shop :( don't get me wrong I like it also but prefer other hops for bittering like Nth Brewers etc. :)

I did an Imperial Pils (9%) & a schwarzbier yesterday - Did a Landlords Bitter & an all Nelson sauvin Summer ale today. Planning a Rogers style amber next & another Ruination IPA.

cheers Ross

I am doing a Dogfish Head IPA clone this weekend and a second generation experimental house pale ale (with Cluster) on easter weekend.

cheers
