What Kind Of Brewer Are You?

I read a different article that claimed that there are 3 different categories of Homebrewer:
1) The Budget Brewer - mainly K & k - usually uses supermarket ingredients to produce cheap booze;
2) The Hobbyist - takes an interest in the process & brews regularly but goes beyond the quick, cheap & easy approach;
3) The Craft Brewer - as the name implies, takes the whole process very seriously & produces a quality product.

I put myself somewhere between 2) & 3) which is, I suspect, where the majority of our fellows on this forum fit ie keen regular brewers who take a real interest in the craft & who strive to produce a great beer irrespective of time & effort involved & with cost being only a secondary issue.

Im, lazy, lazy, lazy. Nowdays usually decide on the grain bill as I crack it, hopping depends on the original boil gravity.
Rarely use any crystals.
Have a pump and all-stainless brewery. Doesn't mean the beers are any better than they were when I was doing "bucket in bucket mash" and boil in an urn.
cheers

Hmm, shame there isnt 'shonky and irresponsible adder of sugar and liquid malt' category, that where this clown is at. :party: :huh:
