Hi all,
I've got a work trip to Ottawa, Washington and Phoenix (Scottsdale actually) in two weeks and I'll be staying several nights in each city.

Any brewpubs worth noting / visiting that are central to each city?

Cheers,
TL

If that's Washington DC then I could thoroughly recommend the Brickskeller which is fairly central. Whilst not a brewpub, it is an AMAZING stockist of beers from the US and abroad (1000+ beers when I was there). I had the Dogfish Head 90 Minute IPA and the Victory Hop Devil when I was there amongst others. They usually have some great stuff on tap too.

Reckon I also went to the Capitol City Brewing Company in Capitol Hill. Great bling! Can't really remember the beers but that must mean they were good because I enjoyed so many over in the States.

I'm envious!

Thanks for the info - I'm staying 2 blocks from the White House (Capitol Hilton) and the Brickskeller is a 22 minute walk from the hotel, according to google maps!

Four Peaks is a short cab fare / 6 miles from my Scottsdale hotel (Hyatt Place) which is near their shopping precinct. Apparently the Papago Brewing Co. is worth a visit too???

Cheers,
TL on tour! :icon_cheers:

Check this index of Ontario breweries/brewpubs. It seems to be a little old but the information is probably still valid. I've never heard of any 'famous' brewpubs in Ottawa but there may be some hidden gems.
