There have been a couple of questions about malt specs, so I thought I'd post a link to a page I have found very helpful. It can get a bit technical, but there is a lot of general information that helps us budding all-grainers to develop a better understanding of how our ingredients perform.

Awesome link, I will now know alot more about my malt, whether my local HBS owner has any idea is another question. Asked yesterday what the colour of his crystal malt was, answer, "dunno". Could it be 50? 100? Answer "dunno, noone really asks....or cares".

Where would I get a malt analysis sheet from though? From the Maltsters? ESB? Website?
