I ordered enough parts to make 2 stirplates just in case the construction didn't go so well. Turns out I've now got 2 perfectly functioning stirplates. If you haven't taken advantage of the bulk buys this could be useful for you.
The stirplate was constructed using this link as the basis:

All components were purchased new. Comes with new stirbar, 12v plugpack and stirplate (no flask).
