Anyone else out there like St Arnou Pale Ale?

I love this stuff and want to make something like it at home. Anyone got a recipe and/or recommendations?

I am new to home brewing and would prefer a recipe that does not involve a boil (but maybe I should harden up...??).

After an internet search I found this recipe at "www.aussiehomebrewing.com":

St.Arnou Ale
1 can Gold Rush St Arnou Ale
200g Light Dry Malt Extract
200g Dextrose
200g Raw or White Sugar
150g Strawberry Clover Honey
100g Golden Syrup
6g Saaz Hop Pellets
1 Pkt Gold Rush Dry Ale Yeast
Bottle Conditioning----4 weeks (min)

This recipe sounds great. Is it what I'm looking for? Also, can anyone recommend where in Melbourne (or online) I can get the tin of Gold Rush St Arnou Ale (or suggest an equivalent)?

Many thanks for all responses!

Haven't tried it myself but website says its a golden ale. I'm not sure that you can get gold rush kits anymore. Maybe a Thos Coopers Sparkling ale would substitute as its used in the kit version of the popular Drsmurtos golden ale.

Thanks Earle

I set up the fermentation on Saturday and went with your suggestion of Thomas Coopers Sparkling Ale.

Couldn't find strawberry clover honey so substituted that with orange blossom honey, and at the suggestion of the guys at Grain and Grape I used 40g of Saaz hops instead of the recipe's 6g. They also sold me some Safale-04 dry ale yeast, which is currently going great guns.

Fingers crossed!
