Gday - of course I'm here early in the week and the closest breweries are closed until Thursday - any where within coo-ee I can get a decent pint and maybe a decent feed?

Firstly, you're probably pronouncing it wrong. It's "Ry-ha", "Sorrent-ah", and "Ports-ah". Think Prue & Tru sort of accents.

Secondly, plenty of places to drink down there, the bored housewives need something to fill their afternoons while hubby is playing golf/the mistress. But the new Crown Golden Ale is considered "craft"

Thirdly, you're gonna stand out like a sore thumb :D

Finally, if you've got transport, get to Hickinbotham's, out the back of Dromana. He's got about 6 beers on tap, his Brown Ale, Irish Stout, and Robust Porter (on handpump) are great.

Already stopping them in the streets haha - getting pretty bored with beard comments from 5 year olds and 23 year olds alike. Righto Hix for lunch and beers today. Pretty fascinated with the sharp class divide between Rye and Sorrento (we are currently in the former and it is a sharp contrast to the latter!). Onya cobs, you saved the day.
