Removing Scale

Anyone got a suggestion on how to remove scale. It's just a build up of calcium isn't it?

White vinigar from WW few dollars for 2 litres you can dilute with water and warmed will act quicker

How about beerstone?
Same? Will vinegar do?

I left my kettle full of hop trub etc after a brew for a few hours (maybe 5hrs), and all the beer stone just wiped away, must be something to do with the acidity of the trub and hops etc...

worked for me

I have a hard flaky cover on my immersion heater, ,scale?
Soak in vinegar Pumpy, then a scrub?
