Custers Last Stand

IPA - American Amber Ale

Brewer's Notes

Really an AIPA, but DB doesn't have that.

Was pitched onto a yeast cake of US-05 so fermentation ripped along and FG was achieved in about 3 days.

Those of you with better eff. may want to reduce grain bill accordingly. Or brew a %9 AIPA... your choice.

Recipe DB went queer. Hops now added, but AA's are all wrong.
Brewmate says 80 IBU. (no chill)
 
Dunno that I would bother with the pale malt, especially at such a small amount as the flavour contribution would be negligable.

The marris otter? I had some left that I wanted to use up, thats the only real reason it was in this. I agree, if I hadn't had it sitting around I wouldn't have bothered with it.
